Parkinson’s Therapy Teaches Patients to be ‘Big & Loud’

Parkinson’s Disease can be debilitating to leading a normal life, but with the help of treatments at one Brighton outpatient center, many people living with Parkinson’s can once again do what they love.

Linda Unger’s early onset Parkinson’s disease was diminishing her ability to walk and talk. That’s when she starting coming to the Jewish Senior Life’s Atkin Center for Outpatient Rehabilitation, where therapists use LSVT Big and Loud treatments to improve communication and movement in Parkinson’s patients. 

Linda says the program has helped her get back to living a better life with her family.
