New, smaller homes to be built at Jewish Home

Five years ago, the leadership of Jewish Senior Life started planning for a new model of care on its campus.

Thursday, shovels broke ground on an $83 million project to house the new philosophy of care that will go with new residences and a renovation of the Jewish Home of Rochester.

“It has been a long time,” said Mike King, president and chief executive officer of Jewish Senior Life. “I’m thrilled to see it finally start.”
