Jewish Senior Life announces that Dr. Azanaw Tassew has joined the organization as Associate Medical Director of Transitional Care at the Jewish Home of Rochester. Dr. Tassew will be responsible for overseeing the medical team on Transitional Care (short-term rehabilitation) and participate in medical assessments for new admissions.
Dr. Tassew has more than 17 years’ experience in health care facilities. Prior to joining Jewish Senior Life he worked for Thompson Health in Canandaigua, NY. Dr. Tassew completed his residency training at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
