Jewish Senior Life Recognized for Excellence at 2018 PRSA PRism Awards

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – June 15, 2018 – Jewish Senior Life was recognized with a PRism Award of Excellence for the opening celebration of its nine new Green House Homes, which welcomed their first residents in the fall of 2017. The 2018 PRism Awards, hosted by the Rochester Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), recognizes the highest standards in research, planning, execution and evaluation for public relations. More than 200 submissions were received for consideration.

Jewish Senior Life, together with its agency partner Partners + Napier, was awarded a PRism Award of Excellence in the Not-for-Profit Events/Observances Conferences for the second year in a row. The Events/Observances category is the most competitive category, showcasing event programs that rendered exceptional results, meeting and exceeding program objectives. The Jewish Senior Life Green House Cottages Opening Celebration in 2017 brought together hundreds of supporters, including residents and their families, friends of the organization, media and public officials.

“The opening celebration was about rallying everyone together to commemorate the next chapter of our organization,” said Jane Knickerbocker, Vice President of Marketing at Jewish Senior Life. “We are thrilled to receive this recognition and remain committed to continue elevating the quality of life of those we serve.”

The 2018 PRSA PRism Awards ceremony was held on Thursday, June 15 at The Wintergarden by Monroe’s.
