ROCHESTER, N.Y., July 31, 2019— Jewish Senior Life announces that Jacque Cross-Hancock, Certified Nursing Assistant at the Jewish Home of Rochester, is being honored with the 2019 Employee of Distinction Award from LeadingAge New York.
The Employee of Distinction Awards recognize the best of New York’s nonprofit long-term care, housing and services providers and the people who contribute their time, energy and professionalism to the field of aging.
Cross-Hancock has been with Jewish Senior Life more than four years. In the role of “Adir” at the Green House Cottages at the Jewish Home, she has the honor of nurturing, sustaining and caring for the elders who live there. Through a focus on deep knowing of each resident, and strong relationships with residents and her fellow employees, Cross-Hancock makes a significant contribution to creating even more meaningful lives for and with the elders who call the Green House Cottage their home.
“Through her commitment to person-centered care, Jacque is an inspiration for her peers and our residents,” said Mike King, CEO of Jewish Senior Life. “Our residents and their families consistently tell us of the many ways Jacque goes above and beyond. We’re very fortunate to have her as part of the Jewish Senior Life family.”
Cross-Hancock was presented with her award on July 31 by James W. Clyne, Jr., President of LeadingAge New York.
