Nursing homes’ coronavirus response

March 26, 2020 – Rochester Beacon – As local nursing homes see their first COVID-19 cases, officials running them are determined not to repeat the tragic errors that were made elsewhere in the U.S. “We’re learning from the experience of colleagues around the country including Washington State,” says Dr. Marie Aydelotte, Chief Medical Officer at Jewish Senior Life. Following the restriction from local and state officials  include enforcing social distancing among residents, restricting outside visitors and screening of staff.
