ROCHESTER, N.Y., April 6, 2020 – We are nourishing the heart and soul … to thank our employees for their continued commitment to the health and safety of our residents, Jewish Senior Life partnered with our food vendor SYSCO to provide our employees with free fresh produce. A truckload of boxes was delivered and we assembled a makeshift farmer’s market for employees to shop. Items offered included asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussel sprouts and much more.
As an added benefit, we have created a dedicated place for employees to take a few minutes to relax, recharge and reduce some stress and anxiety. We are providing free chair massages, breathing and relaxation techniques. We are also offering free haircuts given by our own hairdressers.
At Jewish Senior Life we are proud to be able to offer these added benefits to our employees at a time when they are giving so much of themselves to ensure the safety and well-being of those entrusted in our care.
