Rochester, NY — June 23, 2021 — Jewish Senior Life has been awarded a Gold Aster Award for its “100 Years of Life/Centennial” advertising campaign. The Aster Awards are one of the largest and most respected national healthcare advertising competitions, presented annually by Marketing Healthcare Today Magazine and Creative Images, Inc. Jewish Senior Life scored in the top 5 percent in the nation for its 2021 comprehensive advertising campaign featuring television, print and digital ads.

“Our 100th anniversary was a great opportunity to raise awareness about Jewish Senior Life’s leadership and innovation,” said Jane Knickerbocker, Vice President of Marketing for Jewish Senior Life. “As we commemorate 100 years, we’re learning from a long history of leadership in senior care — and looking ahead to a new century committed to the personal safety and well-being of our residents.”

The 2021 Aster Awards received thousands of entries from across the United States as well as several foreign countries.  All entries are reviewed by a panel of industry experts and are scored on multiple criteria including creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal. Gold winners placed in the top 5 percent in the nation and silver winners placed in the top 12 percent.

“During these unprecedented times of Covid, this year’s competition was one of the most creative to date,” said Melinda Lucas, Aster Awards Program Coordinator. “Our hats off to everyone for amazing entries,” said Melinda Lucas, Aster Awards Program Coordinator.
