ROCHESTER, N.Y., OCTOBER 2021—The Jewish Home has received an overall 5-Star Rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Only about 20% of all nursing homes in the nation receive a 5-star rating, the highest rating possible.
According to CMS, the 5-Star Quality Rating System was created to help consumers, their families, and caregivers compare nursing homes more easily. The rating system features an overall quality rating of one to five stars based on facility performance on three types of performance measures, including health inspections, staffing levels and quality measures.
