Jewish Senior Life Announces New Success Coach

Catrina Rockwell, M.S.W, Life & Employment Success Coach

(May 18, 2023 – ROCHESTER, NY) To continue to attract and retain high quality health care workers in a highly competitive market, Jewish Senior Life has created a new support system to help employees achieve both professional and personal success. A new Life & Employment Success Coach position has been recently added; and Catrina Rockwell, M.S.W., is stepping into the role. Rockwell will assist employees to maximize their potential on the job as well as provide tools, information, and resources they need to be successful in their personal lives.

“We are committed to supporting and developing our workforce,” says Emy Giacalone, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Staff & Organizational Development. She continues, “This includes learning about our employees, understanding issues happening in their personal lives, and providing education, training, and programs that support and empower them. We believe that championing our employees both on the job and in their personal lives will result in a healthier, more productive, and better engaged workforce reducing the overall employee turnover.”

Adding this position is just one more reason why Jewish Senior Life has been nationally certified as a Great Place to Work® for three years. Rockwell’s availability will be flexible to meet the varied schedules and locations of employees around the Jewish Senior Life campus. Before taking on this role she worked in Jewish Senior Life’s Adult Day Health Care program as a Social Worker and holds a master’s degree in Social Work from Roberts Wesleyan College.

Rockwell says, “Joining Jewish Senior Life has been a great experience. I want to meet people where they are and help employees thrive in whatever way I can.”
