Jewish Home has been awarded a Gold Aster Award for its brand awareness campaign and two Silver awards for additional advertising tactics. Aster Awards recognize outstanding advertising, marketing and communications.

Jewish Home and Jewish Home Foundation have elected new members to their Boards of Directors.

Susan Bussey, Senior Vice President of Senior Housing was honored with the 2018 Professional of the Year Award from LeadingAge New York. Maria Fitzpatrick, Director of Inpatient Therapy, was honored for the Employee of Distinction Award.

Physical therapy can help improve the lives of people at any age. The Atkin Center for Outpatient Rehabilitation at Jewish Home works with patients of all ages who need sports therapy, orthopedic and hand therapy, and many others that are common in younger people.

A total of 104 employees were honored for milestone work anniversaries at Jewish Home’s annual service luncheon.

Students in grades five through seven from Hillel Community Day School, Destiny Christian Academy and residents from Jewish Home honored Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, on April 12. This event is part of a yearlong program, Better Together that partners students from Hillel Community Day School with a resident of the Jewish Home during monthly visits around a Jewish theme or holiday.
