01 Screening

All employees are screened upon arrival every day, for every shift. This includes taking temperatures and screening for signs of respiratory illness.

02 Face Masks & Shields

Strict infection prevention and control procedures are in place at Jewish Senior Life. All employees are required to wear surgical masks, and any employee within six feet of others must also wear a protective face shield. Social distancing of at least six feet is monitored and strictly enforced.

03JSLAdvantageTM

This exclusive program ensures that our care is complemented by the highest standards of environmental safety and sanitization to protect from the spread of COVID-19. JSLAdvantage best-practice health and safety standards exceed guidelines from the CDC and Department of Health. Highly-trained staff conducts frequent, rigorous decontamination procedures supplemented by the use of innovative technology.

04SteraMist®
Surface Unit

Used daily, this unit uses “No-Touch Disinfection” by producing a fine mist of hydrogen peroxide that kills 99.99% of bacteria and viruses on all types of surfaces within minutes.

05 The UV Rapid
Disinfecting Unit

This ultraviolet disinfecting machine is the same as used by many hospitals to prevent disease contamination. It is custom-programmed to help fight against COVID-19, and is used in any area which is at a higher risk of exposure.

06 iCleanse Swift XL®

This multi-drawer system disinfects high-touch mobile devices, tablets and remotes, effectively killing 99.9% of most pathogens in as little as 30 seconds.

07 Laminate Protective Barriers

These are installed indoors and outdoors across the campus to ensure social distancing for our residents and staff where it’s needed.
