Dr. Daniel Mendelson is responsible for overseeing Jewish Senior Life’s Medical Department. He has more than 20 years’ experience as Medical Director in long-term care facilities. He co-founded the Geriatric Fracture Center at Highland Hospital, as well as the UR Medicine Geriatrics Group. Dr. Mendelson also was the founder of the Highland Hospital Geriatrics Palliative Care Clinic.
Dr. Mendelson earned his M.D. degree at the University of Rochester, where he also earned a Master’s degree in Biophysics, and trained in Primary Care Internal Medicine and Geriatrics.
