Jewish Senior Life’s Adult Day Health Care Offers Additional Hours

Adult Day Health Care at Jewish Senior Life is pleased to announce it is providing additional service hours to meet a growing need in the community. The medical model day program that serves adults with special physical, psychosocial and medical needs is the largest provider of adult day health care services in Monroe County.

“We are the only medical day program in the Rochester area that is providing a late day session,” says Amanda Bement, Program Director. “By offering evening hours, we can provide an opportunity to find a time that fits into your loved one’s schedule while still receiving the same quality of services.”

The evening hours are from 2:30-7:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and are in addition to the current 9:30 am – 2:30 pm session. Both sessions will provide the same level of services and support clients are accustomed to, such as activity programs, daily medication assistance, therapy services, and more. The additional session is provided at our same location on the Jewish Senior Life campus.

“We are helping people in the community by providing the social interaction and personal attention they need on a daily basis. This in turn gives their caregivers peace of mind knowing that their loved one is receiving quality care,” says Michele Schirano, Jewish Home of Rochester Administrator. “We have a strong commitment to our Adult Day members and are providing them a meaningful experience in a safe and supportive environment.”
