(JUNE 14, 2023 – ROCHESTER, NY) The Summit at Brighton, Jewish Senior Life’s independent living community, is hosting its fourth annual Classic Car Show Sunday, June 18, to celebrate Father’s Day. Cars will be parked along 2000 Summit Circle Drive, Rochester and the roads surrounding The Summit. The car show will take place from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The event is once again being organized by Gene Trotta, Executive Director of Dining at Jewish Senior Life. “It’s a pleasure to host this event every year. It provides great family fun and an opportunity to reminisce for residents and their loved ones,” says Trotta. He continues, “This year we will be presenting a Best in Show trophy and each car will get a dash plate for their participation. We’ll also be offering valet service for residents. Returning to Sunday’s lineup will be the 1957 RTS bus, and we’ll also have an award-winning 1966 Ford Galaxy.”
Trotta expects over 30 different vehicles including a Shelby, 1966 Cadillac Devil, 1968 Jaguar and more. Food, beverages, and music will be provided throughout the day. Best in Show will be awarded at 2 p.m. followed by a parade around the Jewish Senior Life campus.
