(August 10, 2023 – ROCHESTER, NY) The Menachem Begin Award was recently presented to the Jewish Senior Life Foundation to recognize its strong support for Israel Bonds. The award is presented annually to an individual or organization in recognition of special activities on behalf of the people of Israel and their homeland. The award is named for the sixth Prime Minister of Israel who served from 1977-1983. One of his most significant achievements was signing the peace treaty with Egypt for which he and the third President of Egypt, Anwar Sadat, received a Nobel Prize.

The Jewish Senior Life Foundation supports Jewish Senior Life’s mission of enhancing the quality of life, health, and well-being of older adults, families, and others in the community—consistent with the values and traditions of the organization’s Jewish heritage.
