(September 14, 2023 – ROCHESTER, NY) Yesterday afternoon, Jewish Senior Life celebrated employees for their outstanding service to Jewish Home of Rochester residents with the annual Leon Rosen Exceptional Customer Service Awards. “Take an extra second and do it right,” was one of Leon Rosen’s favorite sayings and the annual awards honor the concept that anything worth doing is worth doing well. Two honorees were recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty to provide compassionate care and superior customer service to Jewish Home residents, patients, and families.

Kristine Connelly is a Licensed Practical Nurse Clinical Coordinator for Jewish Senior Life’s Dawn, Evan, and Jacques Lipson Memory Care Unit. One family member who nominated her noted that Connelly is someone that truly cares about her brother and treats him like family.

Lyndsey Adams is a Social Worker for the Cedar and Magnolia Households, as well as Green House Cottage 3. The daughter of a resident expressed gratitude for Adams and the rest of the staff for helping her feel so connected to her mother’s caregivers despite living out of state.

Upholding Rosen’s belief that the little things and extra effort make all the difference, his children and their families established this award to honor and inspire employees to continue improving the lives of residents and patients through excellent customer service.

Honorees received a clock along with a certificate of achievement and a monetary award. Both will have an engraved brick placed in the Founding Mothers’ Circle. The 13 additional nominees will also receive a certificate of achievement.
