Three Jewish Senior Life Leaders Honored at RBJ Health Care Achievement Awards

Jewish Senior Life announces that three of its leaders were honored as 2018 Health Care Achievement Award recipients by the Rochester Business Journal. The award recognizes excellence, promotes innovation and honors the efforts of those making a significant impact on the quality of health care in the Rochester area.

The following Jewish Senior Life employees were recognized:

  • Michele Schirano, SVP/Administrator of the Jewish Home was honored in the Management (long-term care) category for her leadership in ensuring meaningful life for residents, implementing an electronic medical records system and driving high quality and satisfaction measures.
  • Marie Aydelotte, Chief Medical Officer was honored in the Senior Care category for driving forward a new palliative care program, stewardship of antibiotic use, expanding the physician house calls program and ensuring high-quality medical care for Jewish Home residents.
  • Sue Adams-Price, Person-Centered Care Manager was honored in the Staff category for being integral to the development and implementation of Jewish Senior Life’s person-centered care philosophy and the new Green House Cottages, including leading staff training for both leadership and frontline staff in areas such as meaningful life, engagement and coaching for partnership.
